Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal staff.
- Install, commission, and test Durma and TECOI CNC machines.
- Provide operator training and programmer training.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues.
- Perform onsite and remote technical support.
- Accurately document service work, machine conditions, and recommendations.
- Complete service reports and weekly documentation in a timely and organized manner.
- Assist senior field service technicians on larger installations and service projects.
- Follow Access Machinery, Durma, and TECOI procedures and safety standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision after training.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting within industrial or commercial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related technical fields preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to various client locations across Canada.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Prior experience with diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools and equipment installation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members across diverse settings.
