Full time position in a modern Farm Maintenance Shop
Job responsibilities will include :
-equipment maintenance on all types of Farm and Highway truck/trailer equipment.
- routine preventative maintenance and repairs on John Deere and various farm equipment (Tractors, Planters, Irrigation, Harvesters, Sprayers, etc)
- maintain Highway trucks and trailers and prepare for annual safety inspection stickers
- Some diesel engine and passenger vehicle repair and maintenance
- Some minor hydraulic and electrical repair
- position involves working in a team setting in a modern shop
- record keeping (some computer knowledge needed)
- previous experience or managerial positions an asset
- delegating, self management and team work necessary
- valid G drivers license needed
Post Secondary education in any agricultural, or mechanical (automotive or otherwise) and A/Z Drivers license an asset.
Wage and hours of work are negotiable and dependent on experience in the field.
