POSITION TITLE: Registration Technician
DEPARTMENT: Registry
CLASSIFICATION: MGO-03
SALARY RANGE: Starting at $45,900.00 Per Annum
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, 11-Month Term (January 2025 until November 2025)
LOCATION: Saskatoon
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Regional Coordinator, Director of Registry and Registrar

Provide a range of services in card production and application status verification.

Ability to effectively problem solve by referencing, understanding and following MN–S registry policies and procedures.

Reviewing final application for compliance with process.
-
Preparation of photos and signature in Adobe software for cards.
-
Issuing citizenship numbers, mailing citizenship cards and informational packages.
-
Removal of citizens when deceased, moved out of province, or on Indian Registry.

Printing the MN–S citizenship cards, renewal cards, youth certificates, and MN–S building cards.

Ensuring the integrity of the registration process.

Ensuring that all electronic data and files are properly safeguarded.

Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.

Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with appropriate judgement, discretion, and adherence to policy.

Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and standardized processes.

Ability to travel within the province, possible overnight travel for special events.

Any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Registrar.

Uphold and abide by MN–S and MN–S Registry policies and procedures and guidelines as established and implemented.

Post-secondary education in Office Administration or relevant field or a related discipline.
-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
-
A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered as an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Capacity to act with tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality of clientele.
Ability to work methodically, accurately and neatly under pressure with shifting deadlines.
Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Experience using MSOffice Suite, Adobe, Zoom, and basic office equipment.
Trustworthy and reliable.

Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license, have access to reliable transportation, and a clean driving abstract.

Must undergo and produce a clean a Criminal Record Check
