We are seeking a detail-oriented Operator or Worker to join our sheet metal manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery used in the fabrication of sheet metal components, which includes CNC punches, press brakes, welding, powder coating and more.
If the candidate doesn't yet have the skills to work on the above equipment, they will be started within the supporting areas (such as packaging, pre-treating parts, hardware install & assembly) until willingness to learn has been shown and the appropriate training is provided by the employer.
Wage is offered in a range, and is dependent on experience!
Responsibilities
- To operate equipment in our manufacturing facility to produce manufactured components to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings to determine quality of parts
- Safely move raw materials and finished products within the workspace
- Assist team members in performing assembly, hardware or deburring tasks when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Ideally you will have proven experience operating press brakes, punches, or similar sheet metal manufacturing equipment
- Experience with welding, machining, or powdercoating processes is also incredibly beneficial. Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing fields is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- If you do not have the above experience/qualifications, you may still be considered as a candidate for your aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
