Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who take pride in their work. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable cleaning skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-clean tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and prolonged periods of walking or standing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
