We are hiring experienced DZ Licensed Drivers to work with our sanitation client in Carleton Place. The ideal candidate is one with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work with others. 3 years experience in commercial driving is a must.
Schedule & Wage:
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Pay rate is $25.00/hour to $27.00/hour
What the job involves:
- Operating a "D" Class truck to pick up and dispose of waste materials
- Follow and adhere to assigned routes
- Transport waste to drop off stations upon pickup
- Maintain log books
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections
What the job requires of you:
- Valid DZ class driver's license, a clean driver's abstract, clean CVOR, and a clean criminal background check
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with a DZ license
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
- Provide your own CSA-approved steel toe boots
