Position: Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Order Picker
Wage: $20-22/hr
Location: Acheson, AB
Permanent Fulltime - 40 hours per week + Overtime
Role Responsibilities:
This position will involve working in industrial distribution warehouse as a warehouse assistant / Counterbalance Forklift Operator roles. Candidates should have at least 2 yrs warehouse-distribution experience. Computer skills for inventory tracking (Microsoft Outlook/email) The safe handling of products between racks and equipment utilizing various pieces of warehouse equipment and manual labor is integral to the position. Able to lift 60+lbs on a regular basis. Successful candidates will have a good understanding of verbal and written communication to process orders as well as conduct themselves professionally in a team environment.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide consistent and detailed order picking
- Process orders based on order timelines and instructions
- Prepare and stage orders according to schedules
- Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process for orders.
- Prepare material for shipment by truck, courier or customer pickup.
- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures (intermediate computer exp and ability).
