About the Job
Are you passionate about baking and creating delicious treats? West-Side Ventures Ltd is looking for a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our vibrant team! This is a permanent position offering 40 hours of work per week in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities

Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.

Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

Prepare special orders to meet customer needs.

Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.

Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.

Ensure product quality meets established standards.

Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.

Operate baking machinery efficiently.

Organize and maintain inventory for smooth operations.
Work Environment
You will be working in a bake shop and café setting, where creativity and attention to detail are essential. The role requires:

Ability to distinguish between colors.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications

Experience: Not required, but good to have 1 or more years experience in a similar role.
