Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting schematics and blueprints to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute renovation plans.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation for foundational and structural elements.
- Install cabinets, flooring (including tile laying), siding, roofing, and other finishing components.
- Conduct restoration projects involving surface repairs and surface preparation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Apply construction painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
- Assist with caulking, siding installation, roofing repairs, and heavy lifting as needed.
- Estimate project costs using construction estimating skills for materials and labor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or renovation work with hands-on skills in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related fields.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding, and cabinet installation.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights, electrical work, and general construction hazards.
- Handyman experience or background in manufacturing or restoration is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or relevant certifications/licenses are preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
