Beton Mobile Modcon – West Island / Greater Montreal
Beton Mobile Modcon is a growing concrete and construction company based in the West Island of Montreal. We are currently looking for Concrete Workers, Construction Laborers, and Excavator Operators to join our team.
This position focuses primarily on garage and basement concrete floor demolition, excavation, preparation, and replacement on residential projects.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are physically capable, able to work as part of a team, and capable of leading a small crew when required.
Training will be provided for the right candidates who are motivated to learn and grow within the company.
Job Details
Job Type: Full-time / Seasonal with potential year-round employment
Salary Starting: $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Location: West Island & Greater Montreal
Key Responsibilities
- Perform concrete floor demolition using jackhammers and demolition tools
- Operate mini excavators and skid steer equipment when required
- Carry out garage and basement concrete floor removal and preparation
- Prepare and compact sub-base for new concrete slabs
- Assist with forming, grading, and concrete placement preparation
- Remove debris and maintain organized job sites
- Work closely with crew members and help coordinate job site activities
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain professional work standards
Requirements
- Valid clean driver’s license (required)
- Good physical condition and ability to perform demanding labor
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Leadership ability to help guide a small crew when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
Experience (Assets but Not Required)
- Concrete demolition
- Residential concrete work
- Basement floor replacement
- Garage slab replacement
- Mini excavator operation
- Skid steer operation
- General construction experience
Candidates with strong work ethic but limited experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
