Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support CI/CD, automation, cloud platforms, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support DevOps solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
- Support modernization initiatives for core banking, payments, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and customer-facing applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.
- Support cloud transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions.
- Collaborate with development, operations, security, and platform teams.
- Support telecom network operations, 5G platforms, edge computing environments, and enterprise digital services.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
- Experience supporting banking systems, government platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom customer platforms.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- DevOps or Cloud certification preferred.
