With a confirmed pipeline of major commercial construction projects across Ontario for the next two years, we are adding a Project Manager to our team — a brand new position created to support our continued growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between Eldridge Electric's management and our on-site crew across active commercial construction projects. You will be office-based out of our Brockville head office, with regular travel to project sites across Ontario to assess progress, address issues, and maintain strong working relationships with site personnel, construction managers, and general contractors.
This role is expected to develop into a leadership position, with site leads across all active projects reporting directly to the Project Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Managing multiple concurrent commercial construction projects from the office level
- Acting as the primary liaison between management, on-site crew leads, construction managers, and general contractors
- Monitoring project timelines, progress, and deliverables to ensure work stays on schedule
- Identifying and responding to on-site issues that affect project scope, schedule, or quality — including those specific to electrical work — and escalating or resolving appropriately
- Conducting regular site visits across Ontario to assess progress firsthand and maintain relationships with site personnel
- Maintaining clear and organized project documentation, reporting, and communication
- Supporting management with project updates, forecasting, and operational decisions

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management (required)
- Strong working knowledge of commercial construction processes, trades coordination, and site operations (required)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Experience working directly with construction managers, general contractors, and site crews
- Familiarity with electrical construction work and the ability to respond effectively to issues affecting electrical scopes of work — prior electrical trade knowledge is a strong asset
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites across Ontario as required
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- PMP designation or Gold Seal Certification considered an asset
