The Opportunity
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Director to lead and execute the full food and beverage strategy across the property. This is a senior leadership role responsible for operational performance, financial management, team development, and delivering a high-quality guest experience across all outlets.
This is a full-time, permanent role and may support employer-sponsored LMIA and Permanent Residency (PR) pathways for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations

Oversee all food and beverage operations including restaurant, bar, events, and in-room dining

Lead daily operations with a hands-on leadership approach, ensuring service excellence and consistency

Collaborate with Executive Chef and hotel leadership team to align service and culinary execution
Financial & Administrative Management

Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting

Monitor and control labour costs, scheduling, and productivity to meet targets

Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls (COGS)

Utilize POS and hotel systems (Micros, Opera, etc.) to drive reporting and operational efficiency
Team Development

Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house and outlet leadership teams

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance
Program & Service Execution

Support the development and execution of food and beverage offerings aligned with seasonal and regional focus

Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations
Guest Experience

Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and build relationships

Address guest feedback and resolve service challenges effectively

Support group, event, and banquet execution as required
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in food & beverage operations (Director, Assistant GM, Outlets Manager, or equivalent)

Experience in hotel, resort, or multi-outlet environments preferred

Strong background in banquets, events, and restaurant operations

Proven experience with:

Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Labour management and scheduling

Inventory and cost control

Proficiency in hotel and POS systems (Opera, Micros or equivalent)

Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred
