Associates Counselling Services is looking for a female to co-facilitate Domestic Violence Group Programming starting September 1, 2026.
This position will focus on co-facilitating Family Violence Treatment psychotherapy groups to mandated clients, referring clients to appropriate community support services, completing program documentation of client participation and progress, and regular communications with the program coordinator and staff.
You will be required to perform the restricted activity of psychosocial intervention utilizing a variety of treatment modalities in a co-facilitated group counselling setting to persons mandated for domestic violence prevention and intervention. These individuals may also be experiencing mental health, addictions, and/or other life difficulties. Working both independently and as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence informed and best practices in the delivery of psychosocial interventions for domestic violence.
The applicant must be available to work Monday and Tuesday evenings starting in September 2026.
This is a contracted position that will be paid hourly.
Required Skills:
- Registered Psychologist, Registered Provisional Psychologist, or Masters level Social Worker (Clinical), in good standing with applicable college.
- Experience working with individuals and families with mental health issues or other issues that impact motivation, behavior, and adjustment difficulties
- Previous experience in delivery of psychosocial interventions to persons experiencing domestic violence, mental illness and addictions, as well as previous experiencing facilitating and co-facilitating group counselling interventions is an asset.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
