Scorpion Oilfield Services is looking for highly motivated, reliable laborers to add to our team. The candidates should be familiar with a variety of types of oilfield equipment and knowledge of the oilfield, as well as have strong customer service, attention to detail, uphold safety requirements and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
This is a local to LLOYDMINSTER position. Relocation/Living accommodations are NOT provided.
We are willing to support the right candidate in obtaining their Class 1 or Class 3 license, provided they demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assisting Operators on oilfield equipment including loading and unloading liquid products,
· Maintaining all tools and equipment to the required standards;
· Participating fully in job observations, near miss and Hazard ID reporting, site inspections, monthly safety meetings, and daily Pre Job meetings;
· Identifying and mitigating safety hazards;
· Participating in our Safety Program and comply with all applicable safety responsibilities.
· Maintain vehicle and work area in a clean, tidy, and professional condition.
· Coordinate and complete Pre-Job Safety Meetings with all on-site personnel
Qualifications:
- Previous oilfield or related experience is considered an asset;
- Must hold the following valid safety tickets (or willing to obtain):
o Standard First Aid & CPR; H2S Alive, CSO, ODA, Confined Space Entry
- Must be 18+ years old;
- Must be willing to work outdoors
- Valid Class 5 licence and Clean Abstract
