Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest base. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist guests with special requests or concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and professional at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and hotel operations is advantageous
- Professional appearance and demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate hotel operations
