WHAT WE NEED
We are seeking a senior sales professional focused on selling electrical project and service work including new installations, modernizations, renovations, tenant improvements, and new construction. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue for non-maintenance electrical work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Leverage an existing professional network to generate immediate opportunities within industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors
- Identify, pursue, and secure:
- Electrical service work
- Shutdowns and outages
- Equipment upgrades and modernization projects
- New installations and project-based electrical scopes
- Actively pursue high-value opportunities aligned with our technical capabilities and execution strengths
- Develop new client relationships while expanding existing accounts
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct site visits to assess scope, understand client needs, and identify additional opportunities
- Position our company as a trusted execution partner for:
- Electrical service work
- Shutdown coordination and execution
- Equipment upgrades and installations
- Corrective and emergency electrical work
Sales Execution & Proposal Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract close, including all contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, operations, project management)
- Prepare and present proposals tailored to client requirements
- Maintain an active, accurate sales pipeline and forecast activity using CRM tools
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute directly to the growth of our Projects and Services Division
- Provide market intelligence related to:
- Competitor activity
- Pricing trends
- Customer needs and buying behavior
- Support the development of long-term strategic partnerships and key accounts
- Represent our company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of experience in electrical, industrial, or construction-related sales
- Strong existing portfolio of clients and industry relationships in Quebec
- Proven track record of closing project-based and service-related work
- Deep understanding of electrical systems and field execution realities
- Fluently bilingual in French & English (written and oral)
- Experience in electrical contracting or service-based environments
Additional assets include:
- Estimation experience
- Familiarity with industrial sectors (manufacturing, food processing, utilities, etc.)
