We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly following food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station and equipment.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen safety and hygiene.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
