Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized RECE Supply to support early childhood education programs. The ideal candidate will assist in classroom preparation, resource management, and ensure a safe and engaging environment for children. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for working with children, especially those with diverse needs. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued to support a multicultural classroom setting. The RECE Supply will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of educational experiences and supporting educators in delivering effective instruction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom setup, organization, and supply management to ensure materials are readily available for daily activities
- Support teachers by preparing educational resources and materials aligned with curriculum standards
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the classroom environment in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with educators to implement inclusive activities tailored for children with disabilities or special needs
- Support communication between staff, children, and families to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Utilize computer skills to document student progress, manage inventories, and communicate effectively via digital platforms
- Engage actively in team meetings and contribute ideas for program improvement
- Support early childhood education initiatives by participating in planning and classroom activities
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Classroom experience that demonstrates leadership, organizational skills, and effective time management
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable to support diverse student populations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear interactions with children, families, and staff
- Familiarity with computer operation, including basic software applications relevant to educational settings
- Experience in teaching or early childhood education programs is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
Pay: $26.00-$27.50 per hour
