Nahanni Construction Ltd. is accepting resumes for Concrete Pump Truck Mechanics to work at our various project sites located across Northern Canada. The successful candidates will work on a rotational schedule based in a remote work camp environment.
SCOPE
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on concrete pump trucks and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system issues.
- Inspect equipment to identify maintenance requirements and safety concerns.
- Repair and replace components including pumps, booms, hydraulic cylinders, hoses, valves, and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct routine servicing such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Respond to field service calls and emergency repairs as required.
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to minimize equipment downtime.
REQUIREMENTS
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician, Truck and Transport Mechanic, or equivalent. Hydraulic mechanic experience preferred.
- Experience working on concrete pump trucks, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license; Class 1/AZ or equivalent considered an asset.
- Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset.
SCHEDULE
12 hours shifts on a two (2) weeks on - two (2) weeks off rotation, fly-in-fly-out rotation subject to change.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Nahanni is an open-shop Contractor that provides competitive pay and benefits. Compensation is dependent on experience.
