Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software to support strategic decision-making and financial health of the company.
Duties
- Manage and oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
- Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting processes to support financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Implement improvements in accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as a Controller or similar position.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: $133,625.86-$178,416.57 per year
