Position Overview
ShoreLine Pavement Marking is looking for motivated Pavement Marking Painters to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced crew members to complete pavement marking projects for commercial parking lots, roadways, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoys physical outdoor work. Previous line painting experience is an asset but not required - we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate line striping equipment as part of a mobile pavement marking crewComplete parking lot re-striping, ensuring markings match or improve existing layouts.
- Assist with new layout work by accurately measuring and placing pavement markings according to project plans.
- Prepare job sites by sweeping surfaces, using high-powered blowers, and setting up traffic control when required.
- Load materials and equipment for daily operations.
- Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
- Cut and maintain stencils for pavement markings.
- Maintain company vehicles, trailers, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work efficiently with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Experience in line painting, construction, landscaping, or other outdoor labour positions is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime during peak season.
Schedule
Because our work depends on weather conditions and customer operating hours, flexibility is essential.
Schedules may include:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekday work
- Weekend work
- Overtime during peak season
Many projects are completed outside normal business hours when parking lots and roadways experience lower traffic volumes.
