A growing Toronto-based graphic design studio is seeking a self-motivated Contract Sales Specialist to help connect businesses and individuals with professional branding, design, and website services.
This is a flexible independent contractor opportunity for someone who is confident approaching prospective clients, building professional relationships, and identifying organizations that could benefit from stronger creative work.
Responsibilities
- Independently identify and contact prospective clients
- Introduce potential clients to the studio’s services
- Qualify leads and understand their design needs
- Connect interested prospects with the studio
- Maintain professional communication with prospective clients
- Follow up with leads throughout the sales process
- Develop your own outreach methods, schedule, and lead sources

Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity. There is no hourly wage, base salary, or guaranteed income.
The contractor will earn a commission on eligible client projects that are successfully secured through their direct sales efforts.

The contractor will receive a commission equal to 15% of the project fees collected from each new client they directly introduce and help secure.
Commission is calculated on the amount actually received from the client, excluding HST, refunds, chargebacks, printing, shipping, advertising expenses, and other third-party costs.
When a client pays in instalments, the corresponding commission will be paid proportionally as each instalment is received and cleared. No commission is payable on cancelled projects, unpaid invoices, refunded amounts, or prospective clients who do not purchase services.
Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. This opportunity may also suit students, freelancers, marketing professionals, or individuals seeking flexible commission-based work.
The contractor determines how, when, and where outreach is performed, subject to the terms of the contractor agreement and professional conduct requirements.
The contractor is responsible for their own equipment, expenses, taxes, insurance, schedule, and methods of generating leads. There are no guaranteed hours, employee benefits, or minimum earnings.
