Pylon Electronics Inc is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration facility supporting both electronic and physical test equipment and is one of the largest Canadian Owned Calibration Laboratories. Pylon Electronics has a solid reputation in the repair and calibration of measuring instruments. We currently have seven laboratories located in Montreal (QC), Ottawa (ON), Toronto (ON), Dartmouth (NS), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB), and Richmond (BC).
What we are looking for:
Pylon Electronics is seeking an individual with the skills and qualifications to fill a full-time position as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will manage customer inquiries, prepare and deliver accurate quotes and provide comprehensive support throughout the calibration process. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset, along with a basic understanding of calibration processes.
What you will do:
- The primary point of contact for clients, responsible for managing daily activities on customer accounts. Handle inquiries by phone, email and in-person
- Schedule incoming and onsite projects for customers
- Provide customers with quotations on large and small projects
- Maintain customer records
- Interface with technical and logistics staff, serving as the client advocate
- Process client payments and review and process purchase orders
- Assist customers with placing orders for calibration services, ensuring all necessary details are accurately captured
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., calibration technicians, sales, procurement) to gather necessary information for quotations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing consistent, high-quality service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, quotations, and orders, and update customer information and order status in the company's software system
What we require:
- 3 plus years’ experience in Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, email)
- Well organized and attentive to details
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Problem-solving skills, ability to find the best solution to a given situation
- Controlled Goods & Industrial Security Clearance of Secret Level II will be required.
Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
