Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with occasional lifting involved
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on forklifts
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use warehouse management system to track inventory and complete necessary paperwork
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification in Raymond Reach and Order Picker(6 Months Experience Minimum)
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with clamp trucks or order pickers is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues with forklifts
