VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the sales process by preparing quotations, providing product recommendations, following up on opportunities, and coordinating closely with estimating, project coordination, and installation teams. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping to ensure an exceptional experience from initial inquiry through project completion.
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person regarding window and exterior door products
- Prepare accurate quotations and product recommendations for residential and light commercial projects
- Review project requirements, measurements, drawings, and specifications to assist with product selection and pricing
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to convert leads into orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, renovators, and property managers
- Process sales orders and coordinate information with suppliers, project coordinators, and installation teams
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and project information within CRM and internal systems
- Assist customers with product options, features, energy efficiency ratings, colors, finishes, hardware selections, and installation considerations
- Stay current on window and door product offerings, industry trends, building code requirements, and competitor activity
- Contribute to achieving departmental sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service
What You'll Bring
- A customer-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, estimating, or sales support, preferably within the windows, doors, building materials, construction, or home improvement industry
- Knowledge of residential construction and renovation practices is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project requirements at a practical level
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when preparing quotations and processing orders
- Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction
