Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Assist with merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote products
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product inventory
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively to assist multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Support store team with opening/closing procedures and other organizational tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (especially in English and other languages) are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, or technical sales enhances effectiveness in this role
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and POS transactions
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
