Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and the ability to engage customers effectively. The Sales Associate will be responsible for creating a welcoming shopping experience, demonstrating products, and driving sales growth through upselling and merchandising efforts.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering product demos when appropriate
- Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, or digital payments with proficiency in cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly presented (merchandising)
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products and store policies (phone etiquette)
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to explain product features and benefits effectively
- Utilize time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is required; training will be provided for product demos and POS systems
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., English plus another language) are highly desirable for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to upsell confidently

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
