Are you outgoing, organized, and passionate about creating a welcoming experience for people? We are looking for a friendly and reliable Receptionist to join our team at a vibrant Latin Ballroom dance studio.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a social environment, and is comfortable balancing customer service, administration, and light social media support.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Evening shifts during the week
- Saturday mornings
- Additional coverage opportunities may be available
Compensation
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome students, guests, and prospective clients
- Check clients in and assist with class registrations
- Answer phone customer inquiries
- Learn and utilize our booking and client management platform
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Film short class clips and studio content for social media
- Support promotions, events, and student engagement initiatives
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of reception and common areas
- Assist instructors and management with general studio operations
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable using a smartphone to capture photo and video content
- Experience in reception, hospitality, retail, fitness, or dance environments is an asset
