We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder / Fitter to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in high-precision stainless steel and aluminum fabrication. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has experience working with thin gauge materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum.
- Fit, assemble, and weld brackets, plates, end caps, machined parts, and custom fabrication components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Measure, lay out, and align materials using calipers, tape measures, combination squares, and other precision measuring tools.
- Complete tack welds and final welds while maintaining close tolerances and exceptional quality.
- Prepare joints, perform purge welding, and finish welds to meet both structural and cosmetic standards.
- Operate TIG/MIG welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience.
- Strong experience welding stainless steel and aluminum, particularly thin gauge materials.
- Proven fitting and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and working with close tolerances.
- Knowledge of joint preparation, purging techniques, and weld finishing.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
