We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our clients warehouse team. In this role, you'll accurately pick customer orders, safely operate warehouse equipment, and help ensure orders are prepared for shipment on time.
Pay: $22/hour
Responsibilities
- Pick orders according to quantity, part numbers and ensuring accuracy in time frame required.
- Stage completed orders for quality inspection and shipping
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks safely
- Return inventory to the correct warehouse locations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse order picking experience preferred
- Forklift, order picker, or reach truck experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Good communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely on a regular basis (team lifting available for heavier items)
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
