Duties
- Plan and dispatch LTL and FTL loads
- Maximize trailer utilization
- Analyze equipment dimensions, weights, and trailer requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve delivery times, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistical costs for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements related to transportation.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for any disruptions or delays in the supply chain, providing swift solutions to minimize impact.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards is highly desirable.
We are looking for an experiences logistics professional with a strong understanding of equipment transportation and LTL freight with:
- 5+ years in transportation, dispatch or logistics coordination
- Strong knowledge of equipment dimensions, weights and axle limits
- Experience with LTL, heavy haul, and specialized freight
- Knowledge of trailer types and capacities (step deck, RGN, double drop, flatbed, etc.
- Understanding of oversize permits, load securement and regulations
- Proficient with TMS, GPS and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
