Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. This busy bakery position includes scheduling, training and covering of storefront staff, product packaging, and customer service. This job requires a person able to work some early mornings in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. We are looking for a reliable team player, with the ability to work independently. As a Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience while managing staff effectively.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance.
- Recruit, interview, and supervise staff members while fostering a positive work environment.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong time management capabilities.
- Ability to lead by example while fostering teamwork within the store environment.
- Strong customer service skillset.
- Knowledge of bakery operations is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
