Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber/ handyman to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in poly b replacement. We take the existing poly b out of a house and replace with pex pipe.
The job includes cutting holes in drywall, running pipe in tight spaces, alot of problem solving, on your feet for extended amounts of time, cutting wood and tile, work on a ladder, clean up and dust control is imperative and applicant must have own vehicle.
Must be adaptable and personable as we are in peoples home and must respect that so neatness is key.
We are looking for someone that is motivated to work as this is a fast paced and looking for someone that wants to work because the more houses that are done, the more money you will make.
It will start out as a 2-3 days a week but will grow into more as you prove your skills.
Duties
- Assist licensed plumbers with installing pex pipe
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and assembling piping and fixtures
- Using a multi tool to cut holes in drywall and ceiling
- Proper planning and thinking ahead
- Support the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to specifications and building codes
- Participate in site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Basic understanding of water lines and basic plumbing skills
- Familiarity with how water lines are run and best plumbing practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting and working in tight spaces
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements

*don't necessarily need a apprentice. Someone with a plumbing background will be Ok. Will provide some trianing for the right candidate*
