Hours: 40–44 hours per week
Contract Duration: 4 months
Schedule: Day shifts with rotating weekends
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth and accurate checkout process for all customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout area
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately scan or manually enter items
- Process cash, coupons, and other payments accurately
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product locations, returns, refunds, and rain checks
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for receipts and returned merchandise
- Report stock shortages or out-of-stock items to the appropriate team member
- Adhere to all loss prevention policies and procedures
- Handle cash in accordance with company guidelines
- Accurately count and return change to minimize discrepancies
- Maintain the security of cash and merchandise at all times
- Track and record all cheque payments received
