We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused professional with experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry.
Position Details
- Position: Customer Service Representative
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Delta, BC
- Wage: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour, plus vacation pay
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, warehousing, and logistics services.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Coordinate with operations, transportation, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with updates and status reports.
- Resolve customer concerns and service issues professionally and efficiently.
- Process customer orders, documentation, and service requests.
- Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs.
- Support supply chain and logistics operations through proactive customer service and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant customer service experience in the supply chain, transportation, logistics, warehousing, or freight industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or logistics software is an asset.
