Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental management software
- Ensure sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Support pediatric patients and adapt communication techniques accordingly
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions
Skills
- Proficiency in The bridge network (Tracker) or similar dental software systems
- Experience with dental assisting tasks is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and education
Pay: $48.00-$53.00 per hour
