Provincial Refrigeration is a growing commercial refrigeration and HVAC company serving Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are currently looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice to join our team.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians while also taking ownership of service calls and projects independently. The successful candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting, diagnosing, and completing service work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and service work
- Complete service reports and work orders accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company in the field
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and professional
