Hairstylist Job Description Main Responsibilities
- Consult with clients about hairstyles, treatments, and hair care needs
- Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, razors, and clippers
- Color, highlight, bleach, or chemically treat hair
- Style hair for daily wear, special occasions, weddings, or events
- Shampoo, condition, and apply hair treatments
- Recommend hair products and maintenance routines
- Keep tools, workstations, and salon areas clean and sanitized
- Schedule appointments and maintain client records
- Stay updated on current beauty and fashion trends
Required Skills

- Hand-eye coordination and stamina for standing long hours
- Threading, waxing, facials are an added advantage
Education & Training
