- Two years of post-secondary education and one to three years of related experience/training are required, including completed courses in stage lighting, sound equipment and stage management.
- Experience with stage productions, road shows, conferences and related technical equipment and suppliers, along with excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment with a wide variety of groups are required.
- Demonstrated competency in stage carpentry, costuming, props, rigging, video, electronics and other stage equipment would also be assets.
- Ability to meet deadlines and organize time efficiently as well as an ability to thrive in stressful and high adrenaline live performance atmosphere in a creative and professional manner is required.
- A valid driver’s license and a first aid certificate are required.
- Heavy lifting, working at heights of up to 50 feet and the ability to maneuver on catwalks and grid systems and flexible/long hours are required at most times of the year.
