We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for Irving Wallboard. Irving Wallboard is a highly automated manufacturing facility that provides a broad range of gypsum wallboard products for use in the construction industry.
This position is ideal for a technically strong leader who thinks beyond maintenance: someone who understands how asset reliability, safety, people development, and financial performance come together to run a great business.

Responsibilities:
- Own plant maintenance, reliability, and asset strategy
- Lead by example in creating a strong safety culture
- Set the standard for safety leadership and regulatory compliance
- Coach and develop a skilled maintenance and engineering team
- Actively mentor engineers, supervisors and future leaders
- Drive preventive/predictive maintenance to improve uptime and cost
- Own planning, scheduling, execution, and contractor performance
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, and supply chain
- Balance daily execution with long-term reliability strategy
- Contribute to capital planning, continuous improvement, and business results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with industrial experience
- Strong mechanical foundation (electrical/controls an asset)
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve performance
- Experience in safety-critical manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated interest in people leadership and broader business impact
Preferred:
- Shutdown and turnaround leadership
- Planning/scheduling and contractor management
- Capital projects and engineering execution
- Lean, TPM, or reliability-centered maintenance
