This role is for a self-driven Warehouse Coordinator who wants to be trusted with real responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project management team: Ensure timely supply of tools, equipment, and materials through ongoing communication.
- Prepare, pack, and ship materials and tools to project sites according to project schedules.
- Coordinate warehouse and logistics activities with Project Managers.
- Support project managers by providing logistics cost information when required.
- Coordinate the availability, inspection, maintenance, and documentation of company vehicles, trailers, and platforms.
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of tools, consumables, spare parts, and project materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems.
- Maintain accurate asset-tracking records, including equipment location, assignment, condition, and certification status.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure that tools and lifting equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and certified before dispatch.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and communicate recommendations to management.
- Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Support audits and inspections related to tooling, lifting equipment, and warehouse operations.
- Follow applicable company quality procedures and support ISO-related audits and documentation as required.
- Prepare incidents and damage reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or project coordination (preferably in a technical, construction, or industrial environment).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
- Working knowledge of tools, PPE, lifting equipment, and technical assets used in wind or industrial maintenance.
- Experience coordinating transport and logistics across multiple projects.
- Basic budget awareness and the ability to accurately record and report logistics costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with inventory or asset-tracking systems is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with management.
- Must reside in the local Medicine Hat, Alberta or be able to reliably commute to the warehouse.
- Willingness to travel is required; the role may involve periodic domestic and international travel to support project and warehouse operational requirements.
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
