Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food is prepared, served, and handled according to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Support cooking activities, including basic food preparation tasks
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
- Assist with serving food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and efficient workflow
- Who can work Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and food service procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
