Position: Electronic Production Lead Hand / Line Lead
Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually (depending on experience)
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday). Candidates must be flexible to work afternoon shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) as required based on operational needs.

Position Summary
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead daily production activities, coordinate staffing and workflow, support changeovers, monitor production performance, and work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to maximize productivity. This position also plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, maintaining traceability through MES systems, ensuring ESD and IPC compliance, coaching production employees, and promoting a safe, organized, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Lead Hand, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Line Leader in an electronics manufacturing or SMT environment.
- Hands-on experience with SMT processes, including stencil printing, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, and PCB assembly.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, line balancing, staffing, and manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, first-pass yield, scrap, and on-time delivery.
- Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or product traceability systems.
- Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards, ESD procedures, and electronics manufacturing quality systems is considered an asset.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or a related technical discipline is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Must be available to work a permanent night shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday) and be flexible to work afternoon shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) as required.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends when operational needs require.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
