Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated General Labourers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and siding systems on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights. A background in construction, carpentry, or handyman work is highly valued to ensure quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing & siding materials using hand tools and blueprint specifications
- Install various roofing systems including shingles and metal
- Repair damaged roofs by replacing or patching shingles, tiles, or other materials
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and other roofing components
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing plans
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Skills
- Valid working At Heights Certification (required)
- Valid Class G License (preferred)
- 1-3 years of construction experience
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and measuring devices
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and carpentry techniques
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing methods
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 lbs) safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Skill in reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site
- Good understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and on rooftops

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
