The Sleep Institute is currently seeking a Clinical Sleep Consultant, preferably with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation to join our team. As a Clinical Sleep Consultant at The Sleep Institute, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of health professionals led by certified Sleep Specialist Physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with sleep disorders.
- Conduct patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting diagnostic tests as directed by Sleep Specialist Physicians.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification an asset.
- Highly motivated and organized individual with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in Sleep Health is an asset but not necessary as training is provided.
