The Role & Daily Responsibilities
Every shift is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in someone's day:
- Personal & Clinical Support: Assisting with personal care, safe transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and simple wound care.
- Home & Life Support: Preparing nutritious meals, keeping the home tidy, and driving clients to medical appointments or community errands.
- Connection & Vigilance: Offering meaningful companionship while keeping a trained eye on changes in your client's well-being and reporting updates to clinical leadership.
Shift Schedules
Care happens 24/7, and reliability is everything. We offer a mix of short visits and extended shifts, and we need team members committed to picking up hours across the following schedule:
- Mornings: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Awake Overnights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Extended Day: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Short Visits: 2-4 hours
- (Flexibility to accept occasional short-notice shifts is a huge asset!)

What You’ll Bring
- HCA Certificate with active CLHA registration
- Current BLS Certification
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last 90 days)
- Valid Alberta Driver’s Licence, a dependable vehicle, commercial insurance, and a willingness to transport clients
