Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in construction and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.
Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Clean and maintain work spaces and equipment.
- Moving and lifting 50lbs+ materials.
- Carry out masonry work, including bricklaying and retaining walls.
- Operate light equipment carefully and safely as required.
- Working outside in a dusty and hot environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles is preferred.
- Must have own reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is highly valued.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, retaining walls, paver patios, masonry, carpentry, tile laying, electrical experience, restoration techniques is essential.
- Ability to operate light equipment safely is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
