Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team management and collaboration
- Oversee daily food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards
- Develop and implement creative menus that align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and handling regulations to promote a safe working environment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Monitor kitchen operations to optimize productivity and maintain cleanliness
- Train new staff members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards
- Serve as a role model in hospitality, demonstrating professionalism and leadership at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
- Supervising experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction
- Excellent skills in food industry operations, including kitchen experience and food service techniques
- Ability to oversee food serving processes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development and presentation
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
