Overview
Kanata Ford is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Café Attendant to join our dealership team. Our café is an added-value service provided to dealership customers at no charge. The Café Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive customer experience by preparing fresh food and beverages and providing friendly, attentive service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, snacks, and other café items.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and cold beverages.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Keep food preparation areas, counters, equipment, and seating areas clean.
- Restock food, beverages, utensils, cups, napkins, and other café supplies.
- Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need to be reordered.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Previous café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Able to prepare simple sandwiches, salads, and beverages.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14.0 per week
Work Location: In person
